Garden&Grow
Our Matcha Garden
Our tea garden is located 1,000 meters above sea level, cloudy and misty, and pollution-free areas. We have 2,000-hectare matcha garden with nine tea varieties, rich planting resources support customization.
Shade-Growing
Shading begins when new buds start to grow to reduce their exposure to sunlight. Shading can increase theanine content while decreasing the polyphenol (epicatechin and epigallocatechin) content, thereby optimizing matcha tea flavors.
Steam, Kill green and Dry
The freshly picked tea leaves are steamed and dried without rolling. This process preserves their colors, unique flavor, and nutrients. The tea leaves are called Tencha before being ground.
Ground
Blend and grind the Tencha into matcha powder; quality matcha is usually ground to more than 1000 meshes, allowing for ample absorption.
