Matcha bowl have a wide mouth and a deep bottom, so you have more room for the whisking motions, creating a delicate foam.

It has a spout design for easy pouring of hot water or matcha.

Simple Matcha Whisking:
  
Sift 3-5g of matcha powder into the matcha bowl.
  
Add 50ml of hot water (80°C).
  
Use the chasen to whisk the tea in a W motion, applying force and speed.
  
Once you achieve a fine foam, it’s ready.
You can add into water, milk, or desserts to enjoy delicious matcha. The same method can be used to prepare hojicha.
