Made from purple bamboo, which offers greater hardness and flexibility.

The straight-tip Shin design naturally opens out at the ends, creating a rounder shape than curved-tip whisks. It is more durable and especially suitable for beginners.

The 100-prong design makes it easier to whisk matcha and create a fine foam.

Before first use, please soak the whisk in hot water for a short while to allow the curled tips to gently open up.

Cleaning & Care

1. Rinse the whisk immediately after use to remove any remaining matcha stains. A toothbrush may be used gently if needed.

2. Avoid using dish soap and do not soak the entire whisk in water.

3. Bamboo products are prone to mould, so allow the whisk to air dry naturally after rinsing. Do not dry under direct sunlight or with heat.

4. After rinsing, we recommend placing the whisk on a whisk holder to air dry and help prevent deformation.

Notes

Each matcha whisk is handmade. Craftsmanship, colour and appearance may vary slightly from the product images.

The lifespan of the whisk depends on frequency of use, usage method and proper care.

Please do not remove the black thread on the whisk, as it is used to secure the individual bamboo prongs.

Matcha whisks are consumable items. As they are made from bamboo, moulding, breakage or deformation may occur naturally over time.
